Part-Time Food Service Worker - Bronx, NY Starting Hourly Wage: $18.78... We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Food Service Workers to join our team at a bustling medical center in the Bronx, NY. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide quality service to our valued patrons and make a positive impact on their day. Responsibilities • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, such as coffee, latte, cappuccino, and smoothies. • Prep and cook food items like breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, wraps, pancakes, burritos, and more, following approved recipes and procedures. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace by cleaning work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware. • Store food properly to prevent spoilage and ensure food safety. • Prepare food according to customers’ orders or supervisors’ instructions. • Work in an environment with varying temperatures. Qualifications • Excellent customer service skills. • Ability to read and interpret instructions, and perform basic arithmetic used in food preparation. • Minimum of one (1) year experience in the food service industry. • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with frequent bending. • Capable of lifting or moving objects weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted.
