Job Summary:
We are seeking a full-time Delivery Driver for our Costco Wholesale Corporation in South Carolina to help us ensure timely deliveries. This is a salary-based, full-time position (40 hours per week) with wages starting at $18 per hour, depending on experience. Description:
As a Costco Delivery Driver, you’ll be vital in maintaining our reputation for excellent customer service. You’ll be responsible for transporting and delivering goods to our clients in a safe, timely manner. You’ll work closely with our Warehouse team to ensure that we always have the right products, in the right amounts, at the right times.
Responsibilities:
– Loading, transporting, and delivering goods to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
– Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
– Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
– Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
– Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
– Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
Requirements:
– Valid driver’s license.
– Clean driving record.
– Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
– Strong time management and customer service skills.
– Ability to walk, drive, and lift heavy items for extended periods.
Qualifications:
– High School Diploma or equivalent.
– Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or a comparable role.
