Job Description
As an American Airlines Flight Attendant, you will be an integral part of ensuring that our passengers have a pleasant and safe flight. This position requires a high level of customer service and ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
– Conduct pre-flight cabin checks, safety demonstrations, and public announcements
– Serve beverages, meals, and snacks
– Assist passengers and provide first aid as needed
– Deal with emergencies and unexpected situations efficiently
– Comfort passengers, especially those with special needs
– Administer and coordinate in-flight sales and service management
Requirements
– Minimum age of 21
– High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
– Valid passport with no restrictions to international travel
– Ability to reach overhead bins and stand for extended periods
– Willingness to work on weekends, holidays, and on extended hours
– Pass a background check, drug test and clear previous employment verification
– Fluent in English; bilingual or multilingual is an advantage
Educational Qualifications
– High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
– Further certification in hospitality or customer service is a plus
Experience
– Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred but not required
