Job Description

As a Junior Flight Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing in-flight sales and services, and upholding the safety standards of Southwest Airlines. Training will be provided to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform your duties efficiently.

Responsibilities

– Ensure passengers’ comfort and safety during the flight.

– Conduct pre-flight cabin checks and monitor cabin frequently.

– Demonstrate the use of emergency equipment and ensure all passenger safety requirements are met.

– Serve snacks and beverages, and manage in-flight sales effectively.

– Address passengers’ queries courteously and professionally.

– Assist with the boarding process and verify passenger counts.

– Adhere to uniform and grooming standards as per airline’s guidelines.

Requirements

– Minimum age of 18 years.

– High school diploma or equivalent.

– Ability to read, write, and fluently speak and understand the English language.

– Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

– Ability to reach overhead bins and stand for extended periods.

– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

– No visible tattoos while in uniform (facial tattoos not permitted).

Educational Qualifications

– High School Graduate or GED required. Further certifications in hospitality or tourism is a plus.

Experience

– Previous customer service experience preferred but not required.
