We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Retail Cashier for a part-time weekend position at Walmart, a leading retailer in the United States. This role offers a competitive hourly wage of $15 per hour, with less than four hours of work per day. Job Description

In this role, your primary responsibility will be to provide excellent customer service by working the cash register, maintaining clean workstations, assisting customers with purchases, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. This role requires a person who has a positive attitude, enjoys working with the public, and has the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

– Manage transactions with customers using cash registers

– Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate

– Collect payments whether in cash or credit

– Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets

– Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information

– Greet customers when entering or leaving the store

– Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas

– Provide excellent customer service to our customers

Requirements

– High School Diploma or equivalent

– Prior retail experience preferred but not required

– Basic PC knowledge

– Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS

– Strong communication and time management skills
