Job Description

As a Flight Attendant at United Airlines, you will be the face of our airline, ensuring that our passengers have a safe and comfortable flight. This role requires flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a polished appearance. You will need to be prepared to handle all aspects of cabin management, adhere to security instructions, and handle emergency situations effectively.

Responsibilities

– Provide exemplary customer service to all passengers.

– Conduct pre-flight safety checks and demonstrate emergency equipment use.

– Assist with the boarding process and manage seat assignments.

– Address and resolve passenger concerns in a timely manner.

– Serve beverages, meals, and snacks, as well as sell onboard merchandise.

– Ensure compliance with all aviation rules and regulations.

– Handle the unlikely event of emergencies professionally and according to training.

– Administer first aid if needed.

Requirements

– Minimum age of 21 years.

– High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.

– Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.

– Able to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.

– Must pass a rigorous training program.

– Can reach overhead bins and stand for long periods.

– Pass background checks and drug tests.

– No visible tattoos while in uniform (face, neck, hands, or fingers).

Education Qualifications

– High School Diploma or GED required.

– Training in hospitality, customer service, or a related field preferred.

Experience

– Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or airline industries preferred but not required.
