Program Manager - REMOTE (Freelance)

Paramount Digital is looking for a Program Manager to drive core initiatives across our organization which include web, mobile app and OTT platforms across Sports, News and Entertainment properties. We seek a natural leader who can juggle running multiple program initiatives across a broad spectrum of products, platforms, technical stacks and stakeholders. This person should be able to quickly... grasp high level concepts that drive any program initiatives which include but are not limited to ad technology, privacy, PCI compliance, tracking analytics etc. The person in this role knows what it takes to manage large and complex projects, involving multiple partners across a diverse team of collaborators to take a project from start to finish. This person accurately, consistently and proactively "connects the dots" between platforms, interfaces, project lanes and development teams. Key responsibilities: General Oversight: Evaluate, supervise and run multiple ongoing programs across the organization - which can be classified as business as usual / operational or short-lived and/or one-time implementations. Program Evangelist: Partner with the project champion to advocate and evangelize the work / task at hand and clearly define project goals, purpose and timeline. Accountability: Hold all stakeholders accountable, including program champion, to their deliverables. Operations: Create a pragmatic and thoughtful approach to program governance, operations and action plans for stakeholders to adhere to during the program's life cycle. Tracking: Own a detailed timeline which has clear milestones and manage the project progress as defined by the agreed to timeline. This timeline should be used to track progress and is accessible to all parties. Documentation: Define what documentation is required for all initiatives and create a project repository of those documents. That includes but is not limited to confluence documentation, technical implementations, program briefs, runbooks, timelines, knowledgebases etc. Resource allocations and Optimizations: Manage and utilize resources allocation across projects, teams, platforms to optimize our output for each program. Critical thinking: During the course of any program, critical thinking skills are a must to manage interdependencies between teams, analyze program risks and help mitigate those risk and solve problems to move the program forward. Reporting: Executive level and squad level reporting at regular cadences to detail the program status. Requirements 5+ years of experience as a project / program manager which includes serving as a lead program manager on an enterprise level initiative Experience in defining and implementing a project process from inception to completion. Knowledge of agile development methodologies and project management principles. Excellent communication skills. Must be able to understand and evaluate the programs’ strengths, weaknesses and risk with a mindset to analyze and overcome risk and strengthen weaknesses. Strong leadership qualities that can guide strategic vision, delegate to others and drive overall program initiative to success. Proficiency in project planning tools like the Atlassian suite and / or Slack that facilitate tracking for a large project but also enough flexibility to support those groups that do not work within those toolsets. You may also have Past experience in a large scale internet based organization, media company or agency. Knowledge of media production planning, online video streaming across multiple platforms and internet / web technology is a plus. PMP certification or similar program / project management certification.
