Remote Senior IT Project Manager

Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage a proficient team of technical and administrative staff, ensuring effective management of business, technical, and personnel aspects. • Oversee daily operations, ensuring alignment with project objectives and efficient task execution. • Evaluate resource requirements and formulate cost estimates for project-related activities. • Develop and uphold comprehensive project schedules to ensure timely task completion. • Delegate responsibilities among team members, fostering a cooperative and collaborative atmosphere. • Monitor progress on tasks and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders to communicate status effectively. • Review deliverables prior to submission, ensuring compliance with quality standards. • Engage in clear communication with all management levels, both verbally and in writing. • Manage network designs and installations, applying established standards and methodologies to optimize network performance. • Address complex challenges affecting system availability, ensuring prompt resolutions. • Continuously assess network performance and recommend enhancements for improved efficiency. Required Skills • Strong expertise in data management and data analysis. • Exceptional oral and written communication abilities. • Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. • Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. • Specialized experience in project management support for Navy acquisition programs or similar DoD projects is highly advantageous. Qualifications • An active Secret security clearance is mandatory. • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline from a recognized institution. • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
