Are you an experienced Special Education Teacher looking for a flexible, remote opportunity to impact students across New Hampshire? We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Special Education Teacher to join our virtual team. You’ll provide individualized instruction and support to K-12 students, helping them thrive in an online learning environment while working from home. As a 1099 contractor, you’ll have the freedom to set your own schedule and work independently. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual instruction to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring that IEP goals are met.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students in collaboration with parents and school staff.
- Use engaging, research-based teaching methods tailored to students' specific needs.
- Conduct virtual assessments to identify students' strengths and areas for growth.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed to promote success.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure a supportive learning environment for all students.
- Stay up-to-date on special education regulations and best practices to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education.
- Active New Hampshire Special Education teaching certification (required).
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs.
- Prior experience working in a virtual setting is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, including IDEA and 504 plans.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
