Architect -- Secret clearance required (remote)

Occam Solutions is hiring for an Architect to support a project for a client in Washington, DC. This position is remote with meetings onsite as needed. A secret clearance is required for this role. The Architect will lead system architecture, interfaces, design patterns; Analysis and recommendation of alternative approaches and tools; Interface with GPOCs on architecture decisions and plan; Oversight on interface specs, standards, and quality of deliverables, identification and mitigation of technical risks, and will be responsible for mentoring developers and testers. Experience needed: • AWS experience. • Experience architecting containerized microservices. • System architecture. • Identification and mitigation of technical risks experience needed. • Experience mentoring teams, such as developers and testers. Education requirements: • A master's degree in a specialized field plus a minimum of 5 year of applicable experience; or a bachelor's degree in the specialized field plus 10 years of applicable experience; or, a bachelor's degree in any field with a minimum of 15 years of specialized experience.
