Immediate Opening Now Hiring Full Time $70,000 / yr Project Coordinator - Emergency Communications Job Title: Project Coordinator, Emergency Communications Department: Amazon Corporate Security ACS Location: Seattle, Washington Employment Type: Full Time About this role: We are seeking a Project Coordinator to work within the Business Assurance Center’s (BAC) Seattle based, Emergency Communications Program who can support the team’s efforts to deliver product and feature enhancements to our emergency communications toolkit and the associated customer experience. The successful candidate will bring a sense of curiosity and eagerness to become a subject matter expert in mass messaging techniques and data-driven evaluative analysis. This is a cross-functional role which includes interfacing with internal and external stakeholders, such as technical teams, content developers, and regional security teams and requires a strong ability to communicate effectively, and to keep tasks & projects on schedule. This is a full-time contracted position, reporting to the Emergency Communications Lead. In this role, you will: · Manage projects and tasks related to the deployment, expansion, and operational readiness of the organization’s emergency communications toolkit · Maintain project documentation · Track milestones using applicable software tools · Plan and schedule project timelines · Partner with internal & external stakeholders to prioritize project tasks according to strategic goals Basic Qualifications: • 2+ years' experience in project management or program support • 2+ years' experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements • Experience defining and executing against program requirements • Experience working with geographically diverse internal team and/or external partners • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and programs, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word Preferred Qualifications: • Prior exposure and use of emergency communications technologies, methodology, functions • Thinks big and has conviction • Exhibits excellent judgment • Has the innate ability to inspire passion in others • Has extremely high standards on behalf of our customers • Expects and requires innovation of their team • Thinks strategically, but stays on top of tactical execution • Remains positive and generates action despite setbacks • Results oriented The above statements are intended to describe the general nature of this job.
