Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Virtual Educator for Students with Disabilities in a fully remote setting. This independent contractor position (1099) offers the flexibility to engage with students online while following the school district's academic calendar. You will have immediate opportunities to begin teaching based on available placements upon successful completion of the application and training process. Key Responsibilities • Utilize our exclusive educator portal to select assignments that align with your qualifications and preferences. • Inspire creativity and enthusiasm within a virtual learning framework, ensuring lessons are engaging and interactive. • Develop tailored strategies that foster student learning and strengthen relationships with your students. • Create lesson plans that are consistent with the prescribed curriculum for each respective class. • Monitor and assess student progress, grades, and overall performance to promote their success throughout the academic course. Required Skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • Capacity to foster student engagement and facilitate an interactive learning environment. • Proficient in using online teaching tools and technologies. • Strong organizational skills for tracking student progress and performance. Qualifications • Must be authorized to work in the United States and possess an active, state-issued public teaching certification in a relevant subject area. • A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is required. • Participation in a Virtual Skills Teaching Demonstration is mandatory, along with a submitted background check as part of the application process. • Access to a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and stable internet connection is essential. • Prior online teaching experience is preferred but not a strict requirement.
