This role is hybrid out of our Newport, CA or Omaha, NE offices. We believe in empowering our employees to get work done both in and out of the office.As a Product Research Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of innovative annuity products. Your deep understanding of the annuity competitive landscape, distribution channels, and product features will drive our product innovation efforts. Key responsibilities include:How you'll help move us forward:Market Sizing and Analysis:Lead market sizing efforts for new annuity products.Use data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities and inform product development strategies.Competitor Benchmarking:Reverse engineer competitor designs to understand their strengths and weaknesses.Conduct daily research and analysis on the activities of top competitors, focusing on their product offerings and riders.Benchmark our product features in development against competitors' offerings to ensure new product offerings meet client needs and provided differentiated value.Trend Monitoring:Keep a close eye on product releases and market trends. Identify emerging opportunities and potential risks.Provide regular updates to Product Design and management within our division and company.Collaboration and Insights:Participate in industry competition groups, building and maintaining relationships with peers.Meet regularly with Annuity Product Strategy to discuss recent competitive developments and share insights.The experience you bring:5+ years of relevant experience.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.You can be who you are.People come first here. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location.
