About the position The Retail Deductions Sales Engineer (Target) at SupplyPike is a pivotal role that focuses on enhancing the company's retail deductions and compliance capabilities. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of retail deductions and compliance programs, particularly from the perspective of suppliers working with Target. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in these areas and will serve as the primary expert, assisting teams and potential customers in navigating the complexities of Target deductions challenges. The role is fully remote, with the expectation of quarterly visits to the headquarters in Rogers, Arkansas. In this role, you will be responsible for serving as the subject matter expert on retail deductions and compliance programs, ensuring that your supplier experience informs our solutions. You will participate in sales calls, addressing technical inquiries about deductions and compliance, and demonstrating how SupplyPike can effectively resolve these issues for potential customers. Additionally, you will provide strategic guidance to various teams, including Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, acting as an internal consultant to ensure our solutions align with the evolving needs of suppliers. Collaboration with the Product team is essential, as you will advise on feature prioritization based on real-world deductions challenges and customer feedback. Your insights will also be valuable to the Marketing team in developing content that resonates with our audience. Furthermore, you will play a key role in quarterly business reviews, helping to address deductions-related challenges faced by our customers. Staying informed about industry trends and developments through professional networks and conferences will be crucial, as you will share these insights internally to enhance our offerings. Responsibilities • Serve as the subject matter expert on retail deductions and compliance programs at Target and other retailers. , • Join sales calls as the expert, answering technical questions about deductions and compliance. , • Provide strategic guidance and insights to Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams. , • Advise Product on feature prioritization based on real-world deductions challenges and customer feedback. , • Offer insights to help the Marketing team develop relevant content. , • Provide expertise during quarterly business reviews to resolve deductions-related challenges. , • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and share insights internally. Requirements • 5+ years of direct experience working with retail deductions and compliance programs. , • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain. , • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex issues for customers. , • Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. , • Motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. , • Tech-savvy and eager to quickly learn new tools and technologies.
