About the position The Staffing Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring adequate staffing levels for hospital departments across multiple states within the Central Division of Providence St. Joseph Health. This hybrid position requires collaboration with ministry leadership to respond to real-time staffing needs, utilizing critical thinking and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. The role involves managing resources effectively to meet patient care demands while using various software applications. Responsibilities • Collaborate with ministry leadership to ensure adequate staffing levels for hospital departments. , • Respond to real-time changes in patient census, acuity, and sick calls. , • Recruit and allocate resources for assigned patient units. , • Utilize multiple software applications in a high-volume environment. , • Continuously reevaluate competing priorities to meet staffing needs. Requirements • H.S. Diploma or GED , • Associate's Degree in Healthcare, business, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience , • 1 year of computer application and database management experience , • 1 year of customer service experience.
