This position involves working with PreK-5th grade students in a resource room setting, providing targeted support through pullout sessions. The role includes a full-day schedule with designated preparation times and a modified half-day schedule every Wednesday for planning and collaboration. Responsibilities: • Deliver individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs in a resource room setting. • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's goals and objectives. • Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success. • Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to instructional strategies as needed. • Participate in weekly planning and preparation sessions every Wednesday. Requirements: • Valid Texas Special Education Certification or eligibility to obtain certification. • Experience working with PreK-5th grade students in a special education setting is preferred. • Strong communication and organizational skills. • A passion for supporting students with special needs and fostering their academic and social growth.
