Title: Quality Analyst (Inpatient Auditor) Job Summary: Join our team as a Quality Analyst and leverage your expertise in inpatient coding and auditing to drive quality outcomes and mentor a dynamic team. This fully remote role involves conducting detailed inpatient code audits, supporting onboarding and training activities, and ensuring compliance and accuracy across various service lines. Key Responsibilities: • Perform thorough audits on medical record documentation for coding accuracy, consulting services, and compliance. • Collaborate with managers to identify trends, gaps, and training opportunities through audit reviews. • Mentor and support new hires during onboarding and training to ensure successful integration. • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on inpatient coding, CDI, DRG management, and quality measures. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines, workflows, and regulatory requirements. • Provide timely communication and solutions for client and internal inquiries. Qualifications: • Certification: CCS, RHIT, RHIA, CDIP, or CCDS required. • Experience: 7+ years in inpatient coding, auditing, or CDI required. • Skills: Expertise in MS-DRGs and APR-DRGs, proficiency with coding references and query processes, and strong technical knowledge of encoder, CAC, and EHR applications required. • Preferred: Background in education or training. General hours of work are Monday through Friday during regular business hours. · Work is generally sedentary, requiring long periods at the workstation. · Must have a reliable internet connection, phone, and a dedicated, secure workspace to ensure adherence to HIPAA Privacy and Security policies and procedures when viewing Protected Health Information (PHI). · Enjoin will provide a laptop and access to necessary resources to perform job duties.
