Weekend Scheduler - Comfort Keepers - Spartanburg, SC - work from home job Company: Comfort Keepers Job description: Comfort Keepers Home Care is hiring a Weekend Scheduling Coordinator to join our in home caregiving team in Spartanburg, SC! Our Weekend Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for accurately planning and coordinating the care for our clients through the weekend. This position requires overseeing our office phones on a part-time basis during non-business hours, beginning at 5:00 pm on Fridays until 8:00am on Mondays. This is a remote position, but the right candidate will live in the Upstate area and have the ability to come into the office every once in awhile as needed. Weekend Scheduler Benefits: • Competitive Hourly Pay • Direct Deposit • Referral Program • Holiday Double Time • Flexible Schedule • Paid Vacation and Sick Time Weekend Scheduling Coordinator Duties & Expectations: • Schedules shifts by matching caregiver qualifications and availability to client’s need • Communicates new assignments and/or schedule changes to caregivers and client • Identifies and addresses scheduling issues (i.e. call outs, no shows etc.) • Obtain resources needed from office as needed for on call responsibilities such as laptop, tablet and/or phone along with any paper resources deemed necessary. • Answer each incoming call in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner and respond quickly to caller's needs. • Fill all "call-out" shifts using designated office scheduling processes. • Communicate changes in client shifts to the client(s) and caregiver(s) • Contact backup staff when questions arise about clients or caregivers that require input • Communicate client and caregiver concerns or problems to designated office key player. • Field new client & caregiver inquiries over the phone in a knowledgeable manner and pass information to designated office key players • Ensures all shift changes and client care adjustments over the weekend are made before Monday morning • This Job Description is not intended to be all inclusive. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Independent thinker with the ability for flexibility and creativity in finding and solving problems. • Detail-oriented & proficient in managing multiple tasks • Ability to work under pressure and in situations that demand patience, tact, stamina and endurance • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills • Experience with customer service and multi-line phones, with a demonstration to service to actively meet people’s needs • Knowledge of health care is a plus EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: • Superior customer service orientation • Experience managing complex scheduling demands and managing multiple priorities • Strong computer skills (Internet and Word essential, Excel and Outlook preferred).
