We are a professional language services provider specialising in legal and court-related transcription. We are expanding our network of skilled Court Live Transcriptionists to support legal proceedings across the UK. Job Overview We are seeking experienced court transcriptionists to provide real-time, verbatim transcription of legal proceedings, hearings, and trials. The role requires a high level of accuracy, speed, and confidentiality. Assignments may be conducted remotely or on-site at various court locations. Key Responsibilities • Provide live verbatim transcription during legal proceedings • Accurately capture spoken content, legal terminology, and dialogue • Use specialised transcription software and equipment • Ensure transcripts meet legal accuracy and formatting standards • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to GDPR compliance • Work under time-sensitive conditions with minimal errors Requirements • Experience: Minimum 2 years in court or legal transcription • Typing Speed: At least 80-100 WPM with high accuracy • Equipment: Own steno machine or transcription software (preferred) • Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with court terminology and procedures • Certifications: NRCPD, CIOL, or similar (preferred but not required) • Availability: Flexible, with the ability to commit to live court sessions • Security Clearance: DBS check or willingness to obtain one • Travel: Willingness to travel for on-site assignments (preferred) Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary Pay: $23.22 - $27.97 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week Experience: • Court Live Transcription: 1 year (Required) Location: • Enfield, NH (Required) Ability to Commute: • Enfield, NH (Required) Willingness to travel: • 100% (Required) Work Location: On the road Apply Job!
