About the position As an Accounting Senior Coordinator at CVS Health, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions related to both in-store and online sales. This hybrid position requires you to work in the Cumberland, RI office three days a week, allowing for a blend of in-person collaboration and remote work flexibility. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying and resolving variances between sales data and the settlement of various payment methods, including Credit/Debit cards and digital payment platforms like Venmo and PayPal. You will also be tasked with reconciling General Ledger balances against bank activity, which is essential for maintaining accurate financial records. In this fast-paced Retail Accounting department, you will analyze data to create journal entries and may need to research payment inquiries, verify the validity of customer disputes, or process remote check deposits. Responsibilities • Identify and resolve variances between CVS in-store and online sales and the settlement of various payment tenders. , • Reconcile General Ledger balances against bank activity. , • Analyze data and create journal entries. , • Research payment inquiries and verify the validity of customer disputes. , • Process remote check deposits. Requirements • 1+ years accounting/analytical/budgeting experience. , • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Nice-to-haves • High level organization, interpersonal and time management skills. , • Strong problem solving skills and ability to perform root-cause analysis/troubleshooting. , • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Access and Excel. , • Point experience. , • Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with upper level management and external/internal groups. , • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. , • Self-motivated. , • Payment processing/settlement processing experience. , • Remote work and virtual collaboration experience.
