About the position The IT Technology Services Procurement / Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for managing the procurement of IT technology services, overseeing offshore and outsourcing initiatives, and acting as a liaison between various business units. This role involves drafting and managing contracts, utilizing procurement software, and ensuring compliance with supply chain management best practices. The specialist will negotiate with vendors, analyze market trends, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to fulfill their technology service needs. Responsibilities • Manage procurement of IT technology services , • Oversee offshore and outsourcing initiatives related to technology services , • Act as a liaison between various business units within the corporation , • Draft and manage contracts for IT technology services , • Utilize Ariba Buyer/Professional for procurement processes , • Manage projects and vendor relationships , • Ensure compliance with supply chain management best practices , • Negotiate with vendors to secure optimal pricing and terms , • Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities in technology services procurement , • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfill their technology service needs Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field , • Proven experience in supply chain management, specifically in technology services procurement and offshore/outsourcing experience , • Strong background in contract drafting and management , • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise across various business units , • Experience with Ariba Buyer/Professional or similar procurement software , • Demonstrated project and vendor management skills , • Knowledge of best practices in technology services procurement , • Understanding of offshore and outsourcing models in the technology sector , • Ability to analyze complex procurement data and make strategic recommendations , • Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail , • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, changing technological environment Nice-to-haves Benefits • Contract position for 6+ months; contract can be extended; contract to hire is possible , • Remote work with a preference for local candidates or those willing to relocate for on-site work (hybrid schedule) Apply Job!
