Private Banking Officer I

About the position The Private Banker is responsible for developing, managing, and retaining relationships with high-income and high-net-worth clients in private banking. This role focuses on delivering exceptional service while leveraging personal and professional networks to cultivate new client relationships. The Private Banker will provide integrated financial services advice, including banking, credit, asset management, and trust and estate planning, while collaborating with internal teams to maximize cross-selling opportunities. Responsibilities • Develop and manage full-service relationships with high-income/high-net-worth private banking clients. , • Cultivate personal and professional networks to generate new client prospects. , • Deliver top-tier service to clients and ensure a superior client experience. , • Collaborate with internal departments and teams to maximize cross-selling opportunities. , • Provide integrated financial services advice, including banking, credit, asset management, and trust and estate planning. , • Proactively communicate with clients regarding financial market conditions and necessary investment strategy adjustments. , • Manage retention and expansion of existing client relationships through a contact strategy. , • Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities to meet Private Banking targets. , • Lead client teams in planning, delivery, and regular reviews with clients. , • Participate in community and business functions to promote the bank's image and establish referral contacts. Requirements • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. , • Minimum 3 years' experience in financial advisory services. , • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage existing relationships and new business opportunities. , • Strong financial product and technical competence in holistic investment solutions. , • Currently holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 or equivalent licenses. , • Currently holds State Insurance licenses for Life, Health, and Variable products. Nice-to-haves • Self-motivated and driven entrepreneurial personality. , • Well-versed in various investment and financial planning tools. , • Proven ability to network with prospective clients and centers of influence.
