As a QA Engineer I at Restaurant365, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with QA Engineers, Developers, and Product Managers to identify issues, develop and execute test cases, and contribute to enhancing overall product quality. Your focus will be on testing new features, product enhancements, and automation efforts while ensuring alignment with business requirements. How you'll add value: • Execute manual and automated test cases to clearly and effectively identify, document, and report software defects using designated tools. • Develop comprehensive test cases and scripts according to established company practices. • Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, and Designers to gather and analyze project requirements, ensuring the testability of new features. • Assist in triaging, troubleshooting, and resolving customer-reported defects in partnership with Customer Support, Product Managers, and Developers. • Prioritize testing activities to ensure deadlines and project deliverables are consistently met. • Utilize automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium) to enhance testing efficiency. • Help maintain up-to-date test documentation and manage testing environments. • Actively participate in team meetings and collaborative quality assurance initiatives. • Stay informed on QA best practices and emerging trends in testing methodologies, sharing relevant insights with the team. What you'll need to be successful in this role: • BS/MS in Computer Science or 2+ years of equivalent experience • 1+ years’ experience in software quality assurance or related technical role. • Strong knowledge of software testing principles and best practices. • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. • Passion for quality assurance, continuous learning and improving. • Experience with programming or scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Java) is a plus. • Exposure to testing automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium) is a plus. • Experience with SaaS or cloud-based software products is a plus. R365 Team Member Benefits & Compensation • This position has a salary range of $70K-$85K. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location.
