Leidos is seeking a Microsoft Project Scheduler to join our Mechanical Manufacturing team in Huntsville, Alabama. The ideal candidate will need to have intermediate to advanced experience using Microsoft Project as a scheduling and project planning tool. Primary Responsibilities • Maintain and update production schedules within MS Project. • Create Program IMS schedules. • Consult with project managers and technical experts to set up assignments, tasks, and subtasks. • Coordinating project timelines with internal departments and external stakeholders. • Monitoring project timelines and deadlines. • Evaluating performance and preparing project progress reports. • Recommending actions to keep projects within budget and completed on time. • Keeping stakeholders informed of project timelines and deadlines. • Format schedules to meet earned value requirements. • Generate forecasts and capacity analysis models. • Perform SRA (Schedule Risk Analysis). • Track, analyze, and report critical path analysis, metrics, schedule and task status accurately. • Review, compare, and analyze schedule performance against baseline program plans. • Develop or analyze Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and conduct analysis of Project Schedules. • Participate in Lean Six Sigma Kaizen Events as needed. Basic Qualifications • BA degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Understanding of Earned Value Management. • Strong communication skills to build schedules and lead schedule review meetings. • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication abilities. • Ability to multitask and work with changing priorities. • Ability to work overtime as required in a fast paced production environment. • Excellent attention to detail and willingness to be creative. • Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications • A minimum of two years of experience as a project scheduler in a related industry. • Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills. • Experience using SSI Tools – (Structured Solutions Inc.). • PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) or the Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. • Deltek CostPoint Experience. • Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and SharePoint. • Microsoft Power BI.
