About the Position We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team near Fairchilds, TX! This school-based position offers a great opportunity to support students from Pre-K through 12th grade in developing crucial speech and language skills, enabling them to succeed academically and socially. Key Responsibilities Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in delivering therapy services to students. Implement individualized treatment plans under the guidance of a licensed SLP. Help students improve their communication skills, including speech, language, and social communication. Monitor and document student progress and provide feedback as needed. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote student success. Qualifications Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field. Current Texas state license as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. Experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred but not required. Skills and Abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Passion for supporting children and helping them achieve their goals.
