Purchasing and Receiving Clerk (Entry Level) - Flooring Services of Texas

SUMMARY: In this position you will be responsible for ordering flooring materials for all scheduled installations and ensuring it is received in accordance with the appropriate installation date. Problem solving and correcting any and all purchasing/receiving errors. OVERVIEW OF YOUR DAILY TASKS: • Orders all flooring materials (tile, wood, carpet) • Tracks orders • Works with vendors to ensure material is received and available for installation • Prepares daily and weekly reports • Confirms that the receipt of materials is supported with correct documentation and enters in RFMS to ensure updated inventory and proper payment to vendor. • Follows up on discrepancies • Maintains correct data in the system SKILLS/EXPERIENCE TO HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: • Strong mathematical aptitude and problem-solving ability • Experience in Excel preferred • Must possess strong written and verbal communication (bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus) • Ability to multi-task • High School diploma/GED required • Attention to detail BENEFITS OF WORKING WITH OUR TEAM: • Medical, Dental and Vision coverage • 401K • Paid Holidays • Vacation and Personal Time • Employee appreciation events “Flooring Services and our affiliated entities are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
