Job Title: IT Data Quality Analyst Location: Must be located In/within driving distance of Austin, TX. (Hybrid - will be required to go into the office several days a week) Travel:0-10% Job description:As a Data Quality Analyst, you will collaborate with data owners and stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data, primarily within the CMDB. Our focus is on all things ServiceNow. You will enhance data quality by developing data rules and utilizing the Data Quality Application to notify data owners for remediation. Additionally, you will maintain ETL integrations with flat files and expand our footprint with further CMDB automations. The Data Quality Management Team operates within the Business Intelligence Office and works closely with the MSI SACM team. Key Responsibilities: Support CSDM (including IRE and CMDB Health)Perform data analysis in Excel and write SQL queriesEngage in data engineering tasks, including data mapping exercises and evaluating the life cycle of a CI record (from creation to retirement). Analyze problems and design solutions. Exercise creativity to deliver value and cost savings to the program. Maintain a growth mindset, expanding your ServiceNow fluency and understanding of its inner workings and backend. Manage projects and stakeholders effectively. while exhibiting boldness and the ability to drive workstreams and work sessions. Interact with customers, SCPs, DIR, and internal staff. Oversee software deployment, including user acceptance testing. Write documentation for internal and customer/SCP-facing processes. Assess, configure, and enforce data quality and business rule management, including Attribute Domain Contracts, Relational Integrity Rules, State-dependent objects, and Event Histories.Promote the accuracy and completeness of ServiceNow ITSM data.Gather and document business requirements for ETL implementation and integration, drafting common data models, data management strategies, workflows, and reference architectures.Conduct root cause analysis and notify data owners/suppliers for corrections and proper escalation. Required Skills: Strong analytical skills Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Visio, etc.) ServiceNow and CMDB knowledge Demonstrate attention to detail and organizational skills Local to Austin, TX and willingess to work hybrid (in office/wfh schedule) Desired Skills: ITIL v4 Foundations certification. ServiceNow Administration or micro-certification Programming knowledge/experience.
