The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Power Plant Operator to join the team in Everett, WA. Position Responsibilities: ? Operate boilers, with responsibility to operate engines and boiler associated auxiliary equipment depending on location ? Read gauges, meters, and charts to track boiler operations ? Monitor boiler water, chemical, and fuel levels ? Activate valves to change the amount of water, air, and fuel in boilers ? Feed boilers using gas feeds or oil pumps, inspect and maintain equipment to ensure that it is operating efficiently ? Check safety devices and perform environmental checks routinely ? Record data and keep logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activity Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): ? 1+ years of experience with Boiler Operations ? City of Seattle Steam Engineer's License Grade 2 ? Valid state driver?s license Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): ? 3+ years of experience with Boiler Operations ?
