Offered: Medical Dental Vision Matching 401K Full Expense Reimbursement PTO Holidays Off 1 Float Holiday Responsibilities: Designing code compliant & complex Plumbing and Fire Protection systems Perform plumbing design calculations, including domestic water, sanitary, storm, natural gas, etc. Designing complete plumbing and fire protection drawings including piping plans, schedules, details, riser diagrams, and specifications Coordinating design between all trades, including internal team members as well as architect/client. Handling multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining quality and deadlines Performing construction assistance in the form of submittal reviews, RFI responses, and field visits to verify construction of Plumbing / Utilities scope is executed per the intent of the design and assisting in start-up of systems when required. Occasionally travel for on-site surveys to document existing conditions. Background: BS Mechanical Engineering Minimum 10 years of experience required, preferably in a design firm setting EIT Certification required, PE preferred not required Experience developing designs using AutoCAD and Revit Knowledge and experience with implementing Plumbing and Fire Protection designs from schematic through construction.
