Full Time 1st Shift Warehouse Material Handler

About the position The Automated Warehouse Material Handler at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated is responsible for fulfilling customer orders by retrieving and stacking products as specified on pick tickets. This role requires working efficiently and safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment while maintaining safety standards. The position involves collaboration with team members and adapting to various work areas throughout the day. Responsibilities • Retrieve and stack specific products and quantities as specified on the pick ticket/computer screen. , • Assist in case picking and sorting within the automated environment using computers and complex machines. , • Collaborate within a team environment to coordinate and organize efficient warehouse processes. , • Maintain knowledge of different work areas and meet minimum expectations in each area. , • Assist in daily housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse, keeping the work area clean and free of debris. , • Work safely and efficiently to control warehouse inventory and minimize shrinkage. , • Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support warehouse operations. Requirements • 1 to 3 years of work experience in a warehouse or similar environment. , • Ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere while walking and repetitively lifting 30 lbs. , • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. , • Ability to read and interpret instructions from a computer screen. , • Attention to detail and ability to differentiate packages.
