About the position We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant (MA) for a weekend-focused role in the Conejo Valley. This position is designed for individuals who are looking to work primarily on weekends, with the possibility of a flexible schedule that could include three or four days per week, depending on the candidate's skills and preferences. The primary responsibility of this role is to effectively transition weekend activities into the work week, ensuring that patient care and administrative tasks are handled efficiently. For instance, the schedule could be structured around working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, or Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. We are open to adjusting the schedule to enhance workflow, including the possibility of adding an additional day or alternating one of the weekend days. In this role, you will be expected to work independently and possess strong computer skills, as some tasks may be performed remotely. You will be responsible for listening carefully to patient details and ensuring that inquiries are directed to the appropriate provider. Training will be provided to help you answer new patient inquiries regarding our providers and the capabilities of our group. Given that some patients may have complex needs, you will be collaborating with world-class providers to ensure high-quality care. Additionally, you will be tasked with following up on patient care, drafting orders, and writing prescriptions for patients who have been seen recently. This position is crucial for maintaining continuity of care and supporting our providers in delivering exceptional service to our patients.
