Room Service/ In Room Dining Cast Members bring the Magic of Disney Dining directly to Guests’ hotel rooms. Cast Members are responsible for ensuring proper assembly of Guests’ orders, delivering meals to Guest Rooms, setting up dining area in the room, and providing exceptional service. Responsibilities : • Provide over the top Guest Service to all Hotel Guests • Read receipts and prepare dining orders, ensuring that food presentation is fresh and up to quality standards • Deliver order to Guest rooms efficiently and set up a dining area in the Guest room • Converse with Guests while delivering their order, answering questions and creating a welcoming environment. • Resolve any concerns and calmly handle difficult situations • Maintain cleanliness of your workspace and delivery area Basic Qualifications : • You must be at least 21 years of age to be considered for this role • 1+ years of serving experience in upscale restaurant • Knowledge of food presentation and quality standards • Demonstrated excellent Guest Service and service recovery abilities • Strong interpersonal skills • Sense of urgency and desire to work efficiently without sacrificing quality • Ability to multi task and work in a very fast paced environment • Initiative to own and resolve Guest situations Preferred Qualifications: • 2+ years Room Service/ In Room Dining work experience • 1+ years in a 4/5 Star Hotel or Resort • Previous work experience in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment • Alcohol Awareness Training (i.e. RVP, TIPS or equivalent) Additional Information : SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY Our Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Scheduling will require availability to work weekends, holidays, and have a flexible schedule when business requires.
