About the position The Transcription Consultant will play a critical role in the development of new Direct Student Assessment tools at Teaching Strategies, LLC. This remote position involves transcribing recordings of students responding in English and Spanish, contributing to the enhancement of automatic speech recognition technology. The role is available for 20-40 hours a week through December, with potential future opportunities in the spring.
Responsibilities
- Segment and transcribe English and Spanish audio recordings of students.

- Correct transcriptions to accurately reflect recordings.

- Transcribe recordings at both the word and phoneme level for specific tasks.
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant work experience.

- Fluency in both English and Spanish.

- Proficiency in distinguishing letter sounds, especially vowel sounds.
