Leasing Professional (Part Time and Primarily Work From Home)

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing leasing activities, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations. This position requires strong administrative skills and the ability to build positive relationships with potential residents while maintaining the overall efficiency of the leasing office. You will be primarily working from home but on occasion will need to be on site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
• Manage the leasing process from application through move-in, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
• Maintain knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and ensure compliance in all leasing activities.
• Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to track leads and follow up with potential renters.
• Assist in the preparation of lease agreements and other necessary documentation.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective residents via phone, email, or in-person.
• Collaborate with facilities management to address maintenance requests and ensure a high-quality living environment for residents.
• Maintain organized files for all leasing activities, including applications, leases, and correspondence.
• Utilize property management software such as OneSite or Yardi for efficient operations.

Experience

• Previous experience in a leasing or property management role is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in office administration tasks, including filing and record keeping.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
