We are seeking dedicated Local Event Staff to join our core team and ensure our events run smoothly. Job Summary As Local Event Staff at Water Lantern Festival, you?ll be a key part of our team, ensuring our events run smoothly by tackling a variety of tasks and supporting on-site operations. Event Support: Assist with setup, execution, and teardown of event activities, including lantern distribution, guest check-in, and site preparation. ? Staff Coordination: Help manage and direct local staff and volunteers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule. ? Guest Interaction: Provide friendly, professional assistance to attendees, answering questions and resolving minor issues to enhance their experience. ? Logistics Assistance: Support the Event Coordinator with inventory checks, equipment handling, and other operational needs. ? Team Collaboration: Work closely with the core team to maintain a positive, organized environment and ensure all aspects of the event run smoothly. ? Training Participation: Engage in training sessions to learn event management skills, with the potential to advance to the Event Coordinator role. Qualifications ? Age: Must be 18 years or older. ? Experience: Prior experience in event support, customer service, or team coordination preferred but not required. ? Skills: ? Strong communication and interpersonal skills. ? Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure. ? Basic problem-solving and organizational abilities. ? Availability: Complete availability on event weekends. ? Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. ?
