Airline Strategic Programs Analyst

In this role, you will work in a team environment within the FedEx Airline domain to provide strategic support to help identify out-of-the-box opportunities that drive initiative progress and value. You will play a vital role in advancing the organization's strategies and initiatives to deliver value, ensuring that the right level of rigor and visibility is provided for desired outcomes. You will collaborate closely with members of your team and other cross-functional work groups to brainstorm solutions and influence business decisions using a fact-based approach. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Knowledgeable on FedEx airline operations, including but not limited to network planning, aircraft maintenance and technical operations, fleet management, crew scheduling, and flight safety to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Understand how external/internal factors impact FedEx domains.
  • Perform fact-based data analysis.
  • Conduct external research and quantitative analysis
  • Provide recommendation based on data-driven analysis.
  • Develop and present reports to internal stakeholders as required
  • Prepare comprehensive detailed reports highlighting key metrics, successes, and areas for improvement.
  • Work on multiple projects/initiatives from end-to-end
  • Identify, research, analyze data to support the domain’s objectives.
  • Growth and flexibility mindset that can quickly adapt to change.

Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, economics, or a related discipline Minimum Experience: 3 years of experience in business operations, transportation, logistics or related fields. Knowledge Skills:

  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to make and/or defend decisions.
  • Attention to detail with ability to develop accurate written materials.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills,
  • Strong quantitative, problem structuring, and solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
