Web UI Engineer

Description:

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering partners to build delightful and accessible user experiences.
• Build new experiences in the Netflix Game Controller that enable novel gameplay on TV and web.
• Architect maintainable, performant Web client code with documentation that developers can leverage on other teams.
• Help drive client code consistency and simplicity to accelerate A/B experimentation velocity and maintain high product quality.
• Modernize the code base to accelerate innovation velocity while upholding high product quality.

Requirements:

• A UI expert who is passionate about building intuitive and seamless user experiences.
• Familiar with the game development process, with experience in the games industry or games-industry-adjacent roles.
• A Javascript expert with experience working with Typescript and React.
• Self-starter comfortable with identifying opportunities and driving forward-looking technical roadmaps.
• Effective at developing strong relationships with cross-functional teams through clear communication.
• Adapt quickly to new information, switch context when needed and constantly drive to resolution.
• Exceptional coding skills can navigate different languages and technology stacks.
