Data Entry Typist

Position Summary We are seeking a fast and accurate Data Entry Typist to support our growing operations team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage large volumes of data input with speed and precision. As a remote team member, you will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy and consistency across multiple platforms and reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately type and enter data into internal systems and databases
• Review source documents and correct any errors in data entry
• Perform routine data verification and cleanup tasks
• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive or proprietary information
• Meet daily and weekly productivity targets
• Assist with ad hoc data-related projects as required
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding data issues or inconsistencies
• Follow standard operating procedures and maintain data integrity

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred)
• Proven experience in data entry or typing roles (1+ years preferred)
• Exceptional typing speed (50+ WPM) with high accuracy
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience with data management systems or CRM tools is a plus
