Medical Data Entry Assistant

Headlands Addiction Treatment Services is an industry leader in providing addiction and psychiatric services to treatment centers. Job Overview The Medical Data Entry Assistant supports the clinical and business coordination teams by ensuring accurate and timely entry of medical records, lab results, and administrative data. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with EMR experience and a background in healthcare operations. Shift Availability: Tuesday - Saturday - 30 hours per week Sunday - Thursday - 30 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter and upload clinical notes and data into EMR systems
• Upload and organize lab results into patient records
• Order lab work as instructed by providers or business coordinator team
• Complete various administrative tasks as assigned
• Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure timely task completion

Requirements

• Medical Assistant certification
• At least 1 year of data entry experience and familiarity with database management systems.
• Proficiency with EMR software and electronic communication platforms
• High level of attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality work output.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Skills and Expertise

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
• Experience with Google Workspace apps (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)
• Experience in a behavioral health setting
