Telecommute Medical Support Chat Agent
Eagle Home Health is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Virtual or Office Medical Support Chat Agent. As a Medical Support Chat Agent, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our patients and healthcare providers. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the flexibility of working either virtually or in our office. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide professional and compassionate chat support to patients and healthcare providers
- Ensure timely and accurate responses to inquiries regarding medical services and appointments
- Communicate with patients to collect necessary medical information
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to schedule appointments and facilitate care coordination
- Monitor and respond to chat queues in a timely manner
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members for resolution
- Maintain accurate records of chat interactions within our system
- Adhere to all regulations and HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Proficient with technology, including chat platforms and medical software
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records
- Compassionate and able to provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
