- 8+ years of hands-on programming expertise and 1+ year of supervisory experience in automation or controls are requirements for this position
- Associate's degree in electromechanical or automation engineering technology (or related field) is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Pay is at $125000/yr for a highly qualified candidate
- Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder
- No remote, this is on-site in Wausau, WI area

- Supervise Automation Technicians and Programmers, assign work, provide mentorship, and ensure proper training and skill development
- Oversee control system design, PLC/HMI programming, panel builds, machine wiring, and system commissioning while ensuring compliance with safety and electrical codes
- Independently manage multiple automation projects, troubleshoot complex electrical and hydraulic issues, and ensure seamless system integration
- Collaborate with customers on project scope, provide technical support and training, and travel for site visits, retrofits, and commissioning
- Enforce safety standards, approve designs, oversee part procurement, conduct quality audits, and handle administrative tasks like scheduling and performance reviews
- 8 or more years of hands-on experience in automation programming
- 1 or more years of leadership experience in an automation or controls-related role
- A.S. degree in electromechanical or automation engineering technology (or related field) is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Possess a solid work history
- Being a US citizen or green card holder
- Having a residence within a 45-minute drive
