Together, we can help keep this nation and our allies secure.As part of the U.S. Navy's Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program, you will perform as an entry level Systems Engineer within the area of Deployed Reentry Systems. You will serve the Reentry requalification efforts, and the transition of development programs into production.As a Systems Engineer Associate, typical assignments include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Generating requalification assessments
- Developing Memorandum of Requalification Agreements (MORAs),
- Generating Basis of Estimates (BOE)
- Providing general program management input to MORAs
- Providing technical systems engineering support for the hardware that is being requalified and reproduced
- Conducting thorough data mining for historical production, investigating hardware obsolescence, putting together trade studies, and making design changes as necessary
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautical, etc.), or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Must be eligible, and willing to obtain/maintain, a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance (US citizenship required).
- Ability and willingness to travel as required.
- Must possess excellent communication skills (oral and written), and work well in group environments.
