Job title: Data Entry Intern in USA at Waste Connections Company: Waste Connections Job description: We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Data Entry Intern to join our team. This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in data entry and management within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The Data Entry Intern will work closely with our team to input, update, and maintain various types of data, contributing to the efficiency and accuracy of our operations while gaining practical skills and knowledge in the field.Responsibilities:
  • Assist in inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate data records into databases and other digital platforms.
  • Verify data for accuracy and completeness, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors in a timely manner.
  • Organize and categorize data according to predefined formats and guidelines.
  • Support in performing regular data quality checks to ensure integrity and consistency of data.
  • Assist in the compilation and preparation of reports, spreadsheets, and other data-related documents as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of data entry tasks and projects.
  • Follow established procedures and protocols for data entry and management.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance data entry skills and knowledge.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in a related field such as Business Administration, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other office applications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal; bi-lingual a plus
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Duration: This internship is expected to last 3 months and may offer the opportunity for extension based on performance and business needs.Location: This position is located at our sales office in Queens, NY.Schedule: 9am -5pm – Monday – FridayCompensation: This is a paid internship position.
