Job title: Python + OpenShift + Kubernetes + Spark+ some Cloud in Charlotte, NC at Genesis10 Company: Genesis10 Job description: Genesis10 is currently seeking a Python Engineer with our client in the financial Industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.Responsibilities:

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale software engineering planning
• Review and analyze multi-faceted software engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors
• Contribute to the resolution of complex situations while ensuring compliance with function policies and procedures
• Collaborate strategically with internal stakeholders to ensure project success
• Design and develop software solutions using Python, Apache Spark, Django, API, CI/CD, Jenkins, DevOps tools, and Postgres SQL Database
• Develop Power BI reports and support data ETL and query execution in a big data environment
• Work independently while maintaining alignment with team goals and business objectives

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military service, or education
• 4-6 years of hands-on experience with Python
• 2-4 years of experience with Apache Spark, API development, and database management
• 1-2 years of experience with Kubernetes & Docker containerization
• Strong understanding of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines
• Strong Cloud experience
