Additionally, you will maintain documentation and specifications for all packaging components and troubleshoot packaging issues, providing technical support to manufacturing and quality teams. Staying current with industry trends, materials, and technologies is also a key part of the role.Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in packaging design and development, preferably in the food industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software and packaging design tools.
• Strong understanding of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with carbons and corrugated packaging is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the food industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of flexible films, cartons, and corrugated cardboard.

Work EnvironmentThis position is based at the East Hanover site, which employs roughly 400 people. Most employees work a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days onsite per week. Candidates are preferred to come onsite 1 day per week, but fully remote candidates may be considered if they are the right fit. The company offers free lunch for all employees and consultants from Tuesday to Thursday.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43.26 - $52.88/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
