- Deliver high-quality patient support by professionally managing inbound calls with empathy and efficiency.
- Address and resolve patient concerns by employing de-escalation techniques and providing thoughtful solutions.
- Initiate outbound calls for rescheduling appointments and gathering essential information.
- Collaborate with the call center team to elevate service quality and improve patient interactions.
- Efficiently triage patient inquiries to ensure they reach the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Leverage your knowledge of commercial health insurance and medical terminology to assist patients effectively.
- Uphold strict HIPAA compliance and safeguard sensitive patient information.
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience in customer service, healthcare, or a medical office environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office, databases, and electronic health record (EHR) systems; familiarity with AthenaHealth is a plus.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities with a focus on patient satisfaction.
- Capacity to multitask and navigate various systems with ease.
- Understanding of medical insurance types and their coverage processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational competencies.
- At least one year of customer service, healthcare, or medical office experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are advantageous.
