We are seeking a dynamic, engaged individual that aspires to grow professionally within a collaborative work environment. We are looking for an experienced professional that has proven success in medical billing, quality... assurance, and revenue cycle management. RESPONSIBILITIES • Billing and Claims o Prepares, reviews, and transmits clean claims to third party payers (both electronically and by paper). o Requests prior authorizations for services. o Appropriately and efficiently addresses rejected claims. o Maintains relationship with clearing house, including appropriate follow-up with support issues. o Checks eligibility and benefits utilizing third party sources. o Embodies expert knowledge in respect to insurance guidelines for Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, and PPO payers. o Researches denied claims and executes appeals process. o Manages monthly statement process. o Ensures accuracy of payment and posts payments to respective accounts. o Expertise in CPT and ICD-10 coding. o Follows up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe. • Provides excellent customer service- demonstrated through patient education, listening, and communication. • Adheres to HIPPA guidelines, policies, and procedures. • Demonstrates understanding of objectives and key results related to medical billing. • Prepares key performance indicators reports for Billing Department. • Conducts quality assurance audits • Develops processes to improve efficiencies and quality within the Billing Department. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS • 5+ Years experience in a medical office setting • 3+ Years experience in Healthcare Billing • 3+ Years experience in Quality Assurance • 2+ Years in Revenue Cycle Management EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Vision insurance Schedule: • Monday to Friday Work Location: Remote Apply Job!
