Job Overview We are looking for a committed and empathetic Part-Time Virtual Special Education Teacher for the 2024-2025 academic year. Key Responsibilities • IEP Development: Collaborate with families and specialists to formulate and oversee Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives tailored to each student's distinct requirements. • Progress Monitoring: Consistently assess student progress and deliver detailed reports that emphasize their accomplishments and areas for growth. • Caseload Management: Oversee a caseload of 10-15 students, ensuring each receives individualized attention and support. • Collaboration: Partner with an onsite paraprofessional to facilitate instructional processes and provide direct student assistance. Required Skills • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. • Proficient in effectively working remotely while coordinating with onsite support staff. • Experience in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and working with students who have varied learning needs. Qualifications • Must possess a valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate. • A Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related discipline is required. • Previous experience with students who have diverse learning needs is preferred. • Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
