Job Description for Relationship Coach (RC) Position: Relationship Coach (Contract) Location: Remote (In-person for group sessions as needed) Job Type: Part-time Contract About Us Hello, It's Me® is an app designed to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) develop social skills, form relationships, and enhance personal growth. Our Relationship Coaching program offers personalized support to help users navigate social and personal relationships effectively. Responsibilities • Conduct individual and group coaching sessions. • Guide on relationship issues such as asking someone out, dealing with rejection, improving communication, and resolving conflicts. • Customize sessions based on participant needs and assessments. • Facilitate engaging activities and discussions to enhance learning. • Help participants understand and navigate their emotions and boundaries. • Maintain a flexible schedule and provide availability for three months at a time. Requirements • High school diploma or GED is required. • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, sociology, or a related field is preferred. • Certified Relationship Coach (CRC) or equivalent certification is preferred. • Familiarity with Medicaid service guidelines and reporting requirements. • Experience in relationship coaching or a related field. • Understanding of the needs and challenges faced by individuals with IDD. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment. • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. • Availability for part-time contract work and travel. Preferred Experience • Prior experience in cohort-based learning with small groups. • Ability to ensure personalized attention and effective interaction. • Experience in developing and delivering customized curriculum based on assessments. • Competence in managing flexible scheduling with options for 30/60/90-minute sessions.
