Job title: High School Math Tutor (PT) Company: Ngenius Tutoring and Test Prep Job description : Ngenius Tutoring & Test Prep (one of the top tutoring centers in the area) is looking for a high school math tutor who can work with and build academic confidence in high school students. Looking for someone who can tutor some or all of these subjects: Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Cal, and Calculus. Requirements: Must know the math concepts you are tutoring. Be patient. Be able to explain the concepts to struggling students. Have the ability to boost a student's academic confidence. Hours: Looking for someone who can tutor late afternoon/early evening several days a week. Flexible. We are open 7 days a week. Tutors choose the hours they want to work. Hours must be consistent from week to week. If you can tutor other subjects like science, reading comprehension, ACT prep, etc. we will value your experience and expertise. Ngenius Tutoring and Test Prep tutors work with students from Kindergarten through College in all academic areas. We also offer test prep for the ACT, SAT, GED, GRE, etc. If you are interested, please submit your resume. Education experience is a plus but not necessary! Must be able to work in our Franklin, TN branch. About Ngenius Tutoring and Test Prep: At Ngenius Tutoring and Test Prep, our goal is to help boost each student's academic confidence. Our passionate instructors can help with any subject. At Ngenius, we are able to not only help elementary school students with subjects like reading and math, but can also assist high school level students with complex subjects like calculus and chemistry. Whether you are simply preparing for a big test, working to get caught up, or needing a weekly session to make sure you are staying on track, our staff can help. We also help students with ACT and SAT Prep. A higher score on the ACT or SAT can provide a student with more options and can even lead to scholarship money. Our qualified instructors teach students in both classes and one-on-one sessions. We also help with the ASVAB, GED, GMAT, GRE, MCAT, PSAT, ISEE, and WorkKeys. We assist families who choose to homeschool as an option as well. Ngenius can help with the upper-level math and science courses. Sometimes parents are unable to help their students with these subjects. We can also help our home-school community with tutorials and ACT/SAT Prep.
